The Natural World

Views of Earth from space reveal a beautiful world of blue oceans, brown land, white ice and banks of cloud. These books describe the infinity of space and  delve into the structure of our restless planet, with  its earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis. Some titles dwell on  changing climate and weather conditions, and their effect on life and landscape.

Earth is a treasury of plant and animal species. Every child is fascinated by wildlife, from snakes and creepy-crawlies to the giant whales. These books celebrate the natural world and look into ways of protecting endangered species and habitats.
